Louis Jay Goold Memorial Scholarship
This fund was established to grant scholarships for post-secondary education in memory of Lou "Louie" Goold. Lou graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a biology degree and a passion for motorcycles. He turned this passion into a life-long career of working on and rebuilding motorcycles with a career in machining, earning him the nickname "Panhead Louie."

The purpose of the Account is to annually grant a scholarship of $600 to a recipient who meets the following criteria:

A resident of Southwestern Nebraska

Pursuing associate degrees, credit-bearing certificates, or industry-recognized credentials in specific disciplines at an accredited vocational-technical school, trade school, or two-year community college.
